Documentation and samples

The data sheet is issued per grade; the lot certificate is issued per roll and carries what was measured on the roll that ships. Both are available before the first order — ask for them with the sample rather than after the trial.

What ships with a roll

Six documents cover a delivery. Which of them you need depends on who you are answering to — your own quality team, or the brand owner's specification.

Issued per grade or per lot as noted. Certificate numbers, customer names and prices are not published anywhere on this site; the documents carry them where they belong.
Document What it covers Issued
Technical data sheet (TDS) Every value on the grade page with its test method and condition Per grade
Certificate of Analysis (COA) Measured thickness, width, length and barrier of the lot that ships Per roll
Food-contact compliance statement FDA compliance for the grades supplied, in writing Per grade
EU 10/2011 migration report Migration testing to EU 10/2011 for the grade and food-contact condition On request
Recyclability statement Stream, density and label conditions for a converter's own claim On request
Dimension sheet Width, gauge, core, outside diameter and length of the roll Per roll

Before the first order

A film is qualified on a machine, so the useful documents arrive with something you can run. Both sample formats are free of charge.

Why the certificates are not a download button

A generic PDF shelf would put numbers on the internet that are not the numbers of the roll you receive. The TDS belongs to a grade and the COA belongs to a lot, so both are issued against what you are actually buying. Ask for the grade you are qualifying and you get the sheet that matches it.

The same applies to the migration report: it is run for a grade and a food-contact condition. If the condition is not stated on the request, the report cannot answer the question it was ordered for.

What to send with the request

The grade, the gauge, the width you will run and the food-contact condition you are qualifying. With those four lines the document pack comes back in one reply instead of four exchanges.

What a brand owner usually asks for

The document set behind a mono-material claim, in the order it is normally requested when a converter has to answer a retail specification.

Grade specification

TDS with the method and the condition for every barrier value — not a single claim.

Food contact

FDA compliance statement for the grade, plus the EU 10/2011 report on request.

Lot traceability

COA against the delivered roll, so the trial and the production order can be compared.

Recyclability wording

Stream and density conditions, for the converter to write its own claim from.

Questions before the request

If the document you need is not listed here, ask for it directly — a technical question gets an engineer's answer, not a brochure.

Can I get the TDS before placing an order?

Yes. The TDS is issued per grade, so it can be sent with the A4 sample. It lists every value with its method and the condition it was measured at, which is what makes two suppliers' figures comparable.

Is the EU 10/2011 report included by default?

It is issued on request, because it is run for a grade and a food-contact condition. State the condition with the request and the report answers the question you are actually qualifying.

What is the difference between a COA and a lot certificate?

Two names for the same document in the trade. Here it means one record per roll, carrying measured thickness, width, length and barrier for the lot that shipped.

Do you publish certificates on the site?

No. Certificate numbers and customer names are not published, and no certificate is claimed that has not been issued for the grade in question. What is published is the list above: what exists, and how to ask for it.

Do the samples cost anything?

A4 sheets are free. A sample roll ships at the minimum order of one roll, slit to your width, with its dimension sheet and lot data.

Request the document pack

Send the grade, the gauge, the width and the food-contact condition. The document pack comes back with the sample, in one reply.
